What You’ll Need

For the cream

  • 200 g mascarpone cheese
  • 200 g heavy cream (33% fat)
  • 100 g milk chocolate
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar

For the “soil”

  • Chocolate cookies or leftover chocolate sponge cake

For the tombstones

  • Marzipan or oval-shaped cookies
  • HARIBO candies for decoration

Instructions

  1. Make the cream – In a mixing bowl, whip the mascarpone together with the heavy cream until thick and fluffy. Add the melted milk chocolate and stir until combined. Sprinkle in the sugar, give it a quick mix, and let the mixture chill in the fridge.
  2. Prepare the “soil” and tombstones – While the cream is chilling, crumble the cookies (or sponge cake) into coarse crumbs. Shape the tombstones out of marzipan, or simply use oval-shaped cookies.
  3. Assemble the desserts – Once the cream has cooled and firmed up, spoon it into serving glasses. Sprinkle the cookie crumbs on top to resemble soil. Place a tombstone into each glass and finish with a HARIBO bat for a spooky touch.
