Take the black plate and lightly draw 8 spider legs on the back. Then use the hot glue gun to attach the straws to the plate. Make sure to glue them so they can bend upwards.
Flip the plate over and gently bend all 8 spider legs.
Glue the googly eyes around the outer edge of the plate.
